New Look

Well...I have been wanting to create my own header and finally today I did...and decided to change my colors to Purple and Orange...I like the way it turned out I think! I will have to live with it for awhile and see if I like it.

Nice Email

I received a really nice email from Dark Moon, that my blog touched her...that makes my whole day. She is just starting out in collage work and I hope that she will come out of lurkdom and share her art! I love it when people contact me! It always seems like right when I feel like giving up this blog someone contacts me.

Thanks for doing that...I know how hard it is to talk to strangers, but you encouraged me! I appreciate it.

Power of words

You know I have been having a REALLY hard time lately...I was really moved this morning by a set of emails from my favorite board Artista!

It started out complimenting my art friend Linda K who finally delurked on Artista...

Hee hee hee Linda is NOT shy once she gets to know you! Waving! I am SO lucky to have some of her art!!!!

I wore my Heart pin today because I wasn't feeling loved at all at work and needed a reminder that some people DO actually love me!!!! : )

Tripped over a friend!

Ooooh! I just found out one of my friends has an art blog! Ooooh! I feel like a stalker! LOL  Go visit her at her artblog here! Go on, go give her some love! She is going to be able to attend the Corinne class too! I am so excited that she has a blog! You go girl!

Frustrated but now its working

After Typepad made me crazy! NOT posting any entries since Thursday!!!! GAH...I am annoyed at that! But I did try to mark down on my word documents what I wanted to talk about! AND my photos are back.

Disconnected?

Truly this is a strange and surreal feeling. Ok I am not totally disconnected from myself, but it blew me away that Aithne from Glass Slippers mentioned me in her post, there is a photo of one of her twins getting a hug from their dog and there is my blog on the computer screen!

The first feeling was WOW people actually DO read me! Giggle I know, I know I am a dork!

Celebration!

Boy having a blog, lets you meet some awesome stranger-friends! Tina from Glitterati sent me a belated birthday box!!! I can celebrate my birthday all over again! I love to open a box! And inside...drum roll please...a little frog sculpture from Isabel Bloom...AND the book about her life and art!

What an awesome surprise in the mail, during a horrendous week at work...I so needed a grateful heart today, and when I opened up the box...there it was ... my heart beating fast and grateful!  Grateful for wonderful people who live in this world with me...and grateful that they take the time to show me how wonderful their hearts are!  Sigh It is nice to know that in the midst of horrible things that people are capable of, there are those still remaining out there who have decent hearts and lives!

Are you stuck in the Past?

I just found this blog, I tripped over it really, and can't remember how I was led there. I think I needed to see it today. I have to tell you I loved this entry about the Past, Present, and Future. His dad was very wise! And I have to embrace it and remember it!
