Some High Tea Fun

Today I got off of work at Noon and rushed to down town Campbell for some High Tea at Lisa's Tea Treasures in the Pruneyard...I of course had to wear a hat! Tea is no fun without a hat present!

There was the cutest 4 year old girl having tea with her dad! It was adorable! Such a great dad to take his daughter to tea! : ) Giggle
She was well behaved until we started to talk to her and she had to start showing off, but boy was she cute!

I managed to pick up a couple of boxes of my favorate tea that I was out of! So after I write this, I am going to make a cup and finish watching Charmed the 3rd DVD of the 7th season!

High Tea and GET out of the House!

Despite how I was feeling I got my lazy bones up (actually Michael coaxed me out of bed and in the shower by 730 am) to get ready for Fanabella to scoop me away to a wonderful experience at High Tea...

She needed shoes, and we needed tea! Snort I ended up buying some "comfortable" shoes...albeit...they were not ugly! yeah! Just short!

Another day in Europe

Lucy met up with me today and we shared our art, she shared what she has been making since I stayed with her for Art & Soul, wowza! Purses, altered tins, a beaded purse that was in a round bead swap! Yikes! amazing work! check out the flickr site for the photos!

I was able to show her the awesome art I have collected! It is so exciting talking about art that we almost lost our reservation at the tea house! I had to call and tell them we were running a bit late! Yikes! We got there about 5 minutes late!

We had their salads...and man, I had the one with strawberrys! Devine! With raspberry dressing! Just a lovely experience! We had the Royal Wedding Tea which is my absolute favorate!  What was funny was that the lady that usually serves Fan and I when we go looked at me, then looked at Lucy, and I told her I was cheating on my other girl friend! She laughed and said that was alright, they liked having new people come in! Giggle...I laughed really hard!

  We had a great time and I sure enjoy the shop, it is a relaxing experience at Lisa's Tea Treasure. They have lovely items for sale around you, and the food is good, and the tea divine!  It was so nice for us to catch up with our lives and laugh about thing...and talk about our art!  This has been a great time!  I could not resist buying this art-top LOVE it!

Forcing myself for fun

So even though I still did not feel good today...I carried on and I am glad I did. Fanabella and I went back to our favorite haunt, Santana Row, did some window shopping and stopped off at Mido, the japanese store I adore! I picked up some more goodies for Elsie...and then went to Borders, we love Borders! I picked up a purple leather 2006 calendar minder! We window shopped and had High Tea at Lisa's Tea House! YUM...Including us there were only two tables with people! Just the right time in the afternoon!

We had the Monthly special...Minestroni soup, chicken & apple sandwich and roast beef and feta cheese sandwich, scone and frozen peach sorbet! I had the Raspberry Duchess Tea and Fanabella had the Strawberry tea! It was a nice respit after such a horrible week! I am so glad I did not cancel!

Missed Tea

Ah, I wasn't feeling good from the new medication that I started today, so not only did I leave work early, I missed the High Tea at the Rengstorff Mansion. Pout...sigh...

But my Foster mom (who I was supposed to go with) sent home with Michael some tea, a table decoration of flowers used as a name tag and an Irish pinafore!  Also, the booklet that was given out talking about tea rituals and places to buy it!

So that was a very good friend indeed to make me feel better in my depths of this causing my life to be on hold! Grrr!
