A beautiful card for a co-worker...

I love doing surprises, a new co-worker had a birthday on Monday and I just found out about it yesterday so today I surprised her with daffodils, a little goody to eat and the card.

My friend who retired sent me this beautiful plant today! Class act Mr. E!!! Work feels a bit empty without him!  So grateful and feeling good that he thought enough about me to send me this beautiful tree....

My friend Gina Bee sent me her heart! The bigger one is going in a shadow box for a vampire theme!!!
Bonus was the delish skull pin and heart ring!!!!

Moved to tears

Big huge thank you to Angie making my day a little brighter with the coolest autumn hat!!! Love you girl! It came on the day I was flat out from my back feeling all sorry for myself! It reminded me that life is so magical, and when you feel down on yourself there are others out there that are loving you. She wrote a sweet little note telling me that I have inspired her and touched her life more than I will ever know. It made me cry. Sometimes I don't think I do enough to inspire people or mean something to them. Feelings are not reality...just a reminder! 

GREAT mail day!

Oh sweetness of mail today! I received a RAOK from SoManyIdea's!!!! Squeel with delight! She made me a skull rock!  I am so excited I have one of her rocks!!!!  It came at a perfect time, since tomorrow is the ultrasound on my heart...it can bring me courage and good luck!

And I got a couple of great books, and I have started to do some sketching like violet.  And it is a lot of fun! And after work I even ran over to Target and got a new purse! Ah, life is good!

This morning started out great! I got into my new Secret Lentil outfit! This is like an Urban outfit! I love the top AND the bag had to have the monster on it! Grin The monster is a SoManyIdea's creation...I love my flickr friends! I even got a GREAT RAOK from BennyLove, but she doesn't want me to share it...so only a little sharing...she sent one for Fatty Boy too! SO cute how he responded! AND as I was leaving work there were the SILLY Chickens! On the Light Pole! LOL

Then the day turned, I had to come home early because our facilities decided to have the FLOOR down stairs done, and the glue made me SICK!!!! No time off my SL though! Because I complained IN WRITING this time telling of my asthma attack, headache, dizziness, upset stomach! AND I don't feel guilty! They should NOT do that kind of work while we are there! There is balance some where...

It was FREEZING cold today but what a beautiful sky! I am starting to have Spring fever! I got a Sweet Valentine from Loreli! Thank you so much Loreli! She included the charm for our Flickr necklace! So beautiful, a Guadalupe charm! It is going to be beautiful with all of theme together! The MOST exciting mail today? DVD from Insubordiknit! How to spin ART YARN!!!! Not that I am even ready for that, but I will have it for when I am!!!!

Today at work I got a beautiful package from my friend Holly! A RAOK, Random Act of Kindness, A copy of her and her husbands CD that has the song she shared, Audrey is Gone, when Lucy passed...it moved me so much I told her I couldn't wait for iTunes...So sweet she sent me the CD and those beautiful necklaces!  We are doing charm trades for necklaces and these are hers!

Holly has a fantastic voice! I love this CD!!! I have it on my iPod now and I will be listening to it in my car! She and her husband do a great job!!! I can't believe she got me to upload a video of ME singing! snort! If I KNEW she was a singer I would NEVER have gone out on a limb like that! Giggle

WGB this morning said YOU HAVE TO GO TO WORK! Ack! Nothing like looking SO pretty going out in public! I look like I have been sucking door knobs! Pout! I SO wanted to stay home and cover my lip! It is STILL growing! The darn thing! And the doc said nothing will help, just keep it moist...sigh

The WGB put together my shelving for my supplies in the studio, now to start organizing a bit! I need to get it together so I can do the art I want to when I want to! I got them on sale 40% off that day...and I will add to them when I can, they look nice and clean!

That people at work have been so kind today with my pain, and that I can keep the motivation for my WW program...in times of loss. Here is a funny today, I got an email from one of my friend Mary, saying about my weight watchers "Go, go, go girl. Just don’t take that beautiful bosom away. You don’t see cleavage like that enough!!!" I almost spit my coffee out when I read this!!! LOL  And from my dear friend Chica "That's called a juicy booty. That is a GOOD thing ya know...just think about all your NO assed friends....that doesn't look good....BUTTs are good!!! and yours is perfect! Stop stressin'!"

Today was a bit of perfect timing...I had asked Bella if I could buy this beauty that she did, and instead her heart was so big she sent it to me without charging me! I found so much comfort looking at this on her flickr stream that I just knew I had to have a copy to keep next to me. Then she was generous enough to send me another one that is just as inspirational and comforting, plus some of her postcards and such!
