Ruin beauty

The photos of this submerged city just moves me...do you ever feel ghosts trying to talk to you, sad this is covered by a dam.

It just seems to have some stories that should be told.  I was struck by it's beauty.

New hair

Have decided to go with a blunt cut and still have my shaved hair underneath to help cool me off...trying to grow it out this year. I finally found Vicki Howells Chunky 3 hour cowl, going to try that pattern. I have been wanting to make some really chunky cowls this year with some yarn I have on hand....

 

 

I also was able to set up my new waterproof iPod...

Blerg...NEVER go out in the heat hungry, and when you are having a bad day. Came home after one stop...there is always tomorrow...not worth the aggravation! Went to CVS I have money in my acct but the girl screwed up when she rang me up, WGB ended up paying for it...I am wiped out...time for a change your attitude nap!

 

WGB bouncing literally around the bed trying to get me up and me on the bottom photo with the dirty look! LMAO....two different kind of morning people for sure!  It makes me grateful that we are different an yet balance eachother...although first thing in the morning is a little much for me.

A dream in Paris

What a fascinating story...I love the thought of Paris, and this is just so intriguing! I would love to have some of those items they found in the apartment. Check out the link.

 

What kept her away even after the war? Was she running away from someone or something other than the Nazis? For all those decades, her rent on the elegant apartment in a flourishing city had been faithfully paid, but it was left it to freeze in time. It all sounds like the perfect mystery.
