I got up early this morning...my bird was trying to sing OPRA!!! Oh my gawd! She was loud and persistant and only 7 am!!!!! It must be spring! My cats have been yowling...and they are all fixed! But acting like they want any female in the area! Rolling eyes!

So 9 am I call H&R and see if they can get me in...sure RIGHT NOW...ok I put my shoes on and drove and in 20 minutes found out that I CAN get myself a NEEDED new computer I have my eye on! Michael bought it for himself a couple of months ago...and my current puter is acting tempermental! I was reading something and out of the clear blue it shut itself off!!!!

So I may run down and pick up a brand new spanking shiny laptop! : )

My Girlfriend thinks "I" am a Greedy Pig!

Ha! My Girl friend Pallie calls me a Greedy Pig...telling me how I should not encroach my things into my boy friends space, that I have too much stuff, that I need to down size! Or at least clean my stuff up from my boy friends living room. LOL

Who is REALLY the Greedy Pig! Look close at that photo! Yes, you see THREE computers, running all at once with wireless keyboard and mouse! THREE!

Can you say the next step is going to be a plasma TV bolted to the wall! LOL We have exceeded Geekdom!

Mind you these computer's shown are just HIS...not including mine in my studio/family room, not including the one in his son's room, not including the one in his daughters room and not including the portable he gave me to use in our bedroom! True true geekdom!

We have more power in this house than NASA did sending up the first few rockets into space!

Web Cam's & soft Chairs!

Ah...tonight I had enough! I went to Office Max...and bought a COMFY chair...so my butt won't hurt so bad I don't want to sit! No more wooden stool! Yippeee!!!!! Gypsy is a spoiled girl now! : ) I am sitting here at the right height...comfortable in an ultra suede pnumatic chair... on rollers on my wood floor! Oh easy to get to my puter, easy to get to my art work! Oh my! I should have done this two weeks ago!!!! My butt is so happy!

And I got a new webcam! And it works! We webcamed tonight! Ah...when my honi is in his living room we can see each other now! LOL Geeks! And I saw my son and his wife tonight! And the silly kitty! Life is sure good! How fun! I am so glad it worked! Now to get the audio portion to work! That is another time! But now I am happy that my webcam is on! Yeah! happy feet for seeing my kid!

Happy Birthday to Me! A Day Early!

Ok granted it is not the greatest of photos! But LOOK here is my computers new home! And the doors shut so my cats will have to stay off my printer! *giggling* I am so happy with it!

Of course my room is a mess...and it didn't take me long to junk it up...I am such the clutter bug! But I like my stuff! Oh...happy day! This is fun! I can actually use this as a desk, as a work station for my quilting and for my journaling and my paper art! Oh my...no more excuses because I don't have a place!

Persistance pays off in the long run! I am so happy I went back to an earlier post and FIGURED OUT WHY THE LINK WOULD NOT WORK! I am a smart cookie some times! I got the link to finally work!

You ask what was the problem?

Mac vs PC...the portable Mac I was borrowing (until my PC was up and running) would NOT do it...I suppose it is not compatable with Typepad...where as my PC lets me do it! : )

Ah...I can relax now! It was driving me insane!

Feel's Good

Well yesterday was spent going ALL over the place for computer equipment and such...Nice way to spend a beautiful California Saturday right?! Gasp...I would have rather been at the beach! But the nice thing is that today it is starting to feel good. I have (Actually Michael has) my studio finally coming together! Before today, my computer was intermingled with Michael's in his living room...now my computer is in my Studio/Family room and is now humming along!

The up side to this is that maybe I will start doing my art work again on a regular basis. One of the things I have been wanting to do is capturing collaging and photo's onto fabric for my quilts. I just bought a printer last night that SHOULD be ok with my printing on fabric! And it also prints transparency's which I want to use on my paper collages and altered books!

This could be very exciting!

The printer is an all in one HP 2410...I have scanned photos already and even printed! But I am not ready for the fabric part yet...I have to get my act together for that part and I am too tired right now! Not doing anything when I am tired...

Real life has been getting to me lately, so I have not been keeping up with my cleaning skills...not that I am a dirty pig, but I am NOT OCD about cleaning my house either! I vacuumed up oh about 10 spiders hanging around my cluttered family room today...more floors are still filthy, do not have the energy to mop! that has to be for another day!

I had to move a TON of items off of my little kitchen table that I have in my family room. And I still have not found a place for everything...some things went to a box that will live under my other table for a time! And be friendly for awhile to spiders!

Computer Dilemas

There is nothing more frustrating than having your computer that is at least 8 years old do the dance of death! My boyfriend is frantically trying to save our information from his dieing computer...can you say he has had a frustrating weekend?! This has been worse than child birth! Its not easy to be cheerful when your whole computer world is crashing!

Well the only good thing...maybe I will get my own computer set up finally where I can have access to it...we have been sharing a desk...and I have reverted to using one of his laptops for most of my online experience at home! So I am always fractured...is that on MY computer on HIS???? Giggle....He is a spoiled boy - who spoils me!
