OMG this is fucking sweet!I cannot help but be in AWE!!! This is so AH-mazing! I can't imagine how long it took to create...but I LOVE it! I can see they used wire to hold it all togehter...woooooosh I am just stunned!

A GREAT mail day!

Well, it was MY Monday and I was back at work in basic black to show off my Mermaid Nights Shawl, in deep blues, purples and golds. I love this little shawl, it is enough to keep the chill off here in sunny California, where we think it is COLD at 60!

This was a fun knit and fast too...I should make some more...I get a lot of wonderful compliments in it!

 

I SO enjoyed meeting my new friend Lynn from BennyLoves over the weekend. We instantly connected. I love when that happens. We have a lot in common and I love her knitting!!!! He spirit comes through her art that is for sure! She is a delight and so joyful! If you would love some of her items RUSH to her etsy and pick a few out...that is if "I" haven't taken them all!

 

Good thing I was smiling this morning...

the backlash of not being at work? BLIZZARD of work! And how can ONE person have over 200 emails facing them from just 4 days???? People, I am NOT that important!

Not realizing when I left this morning that my sweater would NOT cover my clevage! LOL Oh well...I have boobs! Get over it! Snort! I had another class this morning from 8:30-12:30 and will for the next like 6 Weds. Good speaker and motivational...good thing I was TIRED and burned from the other class.

And when I got back from class! SURPRISE a package was waiting for me! yeah! OHMYGAWD how delightful!

I only did one page today in my Technique book...but I LOVE the burst of colors!

Stitches West!

It was like I went into a art yarn coma the minute I stepped in! OHMYGAWD...I thought quilt shows were bad for me! YIKES!!!!! Just the smell of the yarn made me swoon!  I stuck to my budget! I got two kits and I am REALLY happy with them from a new artists I found, Gita Maria from Oregon...fantastic!!!!

I am SO sore and my dogs are barking! from all that walking! Eeesh! I still cannot take all the beautiful things in my head to my heart yet!

I went with Lynn and her sister Lisa! SO much fun to be with! It was electrifying to smell all that yarn! Be around all that yarn! I am obsessed with yarn!

A fun mail day!

Oh what a fun mail day! My eye ball earrings came in! I won't talk about them I will just show them off! I bought them the day I had my eye injury! Snort! They are felted! Aren't they just hysterical! If those don't make you laugh you have no sense of the absurd!

Taking care of business!

So I ran to pay our rent where our bank moved for "our" convienance...a little joke between my boyfriend and I. (The bank moved from OUR city to the city next to us in a horrible place that is SO inconvenient but they said it was for OUR convienance that they moved! Snort)  Any way, while I was in the neighborhood I stopped in at Borders and picked up my magz finally except for Juxoposed...they didn't have it! Gah!

However, what a delightful surprise to see one of the artists that I predicted over a year ago would sky rocket and THERE SHE WAS IN THE MAG! I should work some where where I predict the new hot artists! I would so rock at that! ANYWAY, I am so lucky to have some of her art!

Then I picked up so yarn for my Hells Kitchen yarn that I want to make a shawl from but I have to add some yarn so I am doing black... and then found the orangie color that I want to try to make a crochet blanket with...it is very soft!

Still working on my Funky Pink Fleur Shawl...its coming along...

Today started out with a visit to St. Ignatius Church located at 650 Parker Ave San Francisco, CA. My girl friend Lucy had a Great-Grandfather and a Grandfather who were famous painters. Today we saw 5 of her Great-Grandfathers fresco's in St. Ignatius.
