Ok...The Altered cabinet cards are RE-worked...Printed...and Cut out! Now just to RE-mail them! Rolling eyes!  they are not as good as the first ones...but they are ok.

Tag for Fatbook

Today was pretty much  miserable...my thumb is killing me...but I finished the tag that goes on the inside of the pages! Yipppeee! They will  be mail out over night tomorrow! I wanted to use the whole cabinet card of my family on this tag...it has the men, and I wanted my pages to be more female based...so I omitted them...but then I wanted to include them...alone with everyones name.

Altered Cabinet Cards

Well finally I finished the fatbook pages and will be out in the mail this week! I am still folding! Ahhhhhhh! Gee wonder why my thumb hurts?

Then I decided to make some tags...I used the entire cabinet card photo that is fuzzy and blurry of my family...my Great-grandmother Rebecca and two of her sons and her first 2 grandchildren...I don't remember who the 3rd man is...I used to know...but my memory is fading!  Anyway I am happy with this page!

This is the third attempt at my altered cabinet card...still not really liking it. But it is getting there! My hopes are to finish it tomorrow and print it!  I hope I can get it done.

My big computer is running slow and I am trying to back up my entire  computer and it is giving me some hell to pay!  It is slow! But I am almost done...I have LOTS of art on my computer! and photos! It takes time!

I have been trying to finish my cabinet card...and sure enough the computer has slowed me down! I remembered that I actually had a reproduction cabinet card with my brother and I in it! So I am using that!  LOVE it!  Just have to work out the concept! Ghostbones had book downloads...I am using one! I love it!

Fatbook Crunch

Ah...I have been so behind on everything...this weekend I have TWO swaps to finish! I have been working on the Streets of Paris Fatbook Pages today! They are offically designed!!!  And I am pretty happy with it!

Friday Blahs!

Ah...today was a little tough...I had to go in to work with my DOO...so way too much attention to the hair...and people are so darn cute..."YOU look younger!" giggle...I am one of the people that don't mind getting older! And it makes me giggle that I look younger! Snort....hey its better than you look really ugly!

And had an hour meeting with the big boss on his request... sigh.

AND I had to catch up on my swaps...designing and tweaking my Streets of Paris Fatbook pages...this is tough because I am feeling depleated...too much going on and not enough art time. I am just out of sorts lately... And the lack of sleeping is starting to ware on me.   I am still not thrilled with it...

Sad...but happy for my Art Friend

My favorate Fatbook Mom is hanging up her apron. I think we drove her over the edge with the Titanic sinking...and I am sad because I ALWAYS love my Connie Books! But I can so understand with all her children (us) being late, whining, and wanting special treatment! I will miss her organization, talent, art, and humor!

Over the last year, she has done MANY books and it takes so much to put one together that I think she needs a much needed break from her wrangling us all.
