So dramatic!

Hee hee hee today I had a great mail day! Ah! My shawl came in! AND Chandra snatched it up and wore it all day! Giggle  After work I walked 40 minutes making the days steps 5, 702...so I was being dramatic! It was a long day, but I did manage to work some more on the Ancestors canvas...

Catch up and breathe day!

Ah today was my last day of vacation...I slept well, and then got up at like 6 am and worked on a new canvas, white on white I am calling Ancestors. I need to add a lot more to it, but it is a good beginning!

I was able to catch up on some sleep and watch my vampire shows!!!

Productive day!

Oh I worked on so much art today! I was truly inspired. I finished the Sherbet Shawl!!! AND started the canvas background, I will learn more in a class later this month, but this is going well! I started to paint the Religious Icon book AND I printed and cut out the icon papers too! I am on a roll today! While doing all that I even cooked up some great hardy soup...Lentle, barely, yellow and green pea, chicken soup!

Productive Day

Man, After looking back at old photos I can now see the difference...and now you can see definition in my legs! Whoot! I am starting to feel really good about the changes. The BIG boss was on vacation so I was comfortable casual today. It was hysterical today, one of my co-workers told me that I glowed! I think it must be the light colors... The shoes I wore gave me blisters! And I tried to smile through it all anyway! But they sure looked good as I did at least the 10,000 steps today ALL around my building! Man I was running every where!  Today Clicker man wore cologne...AND because of all the stress my IBS is acting up! YIKES! Lethal combo! Not feeling so good! I totally feel like I have been through the ringer!

Today when I stepped out my door I scared a Fairy out of her wing, I have proof! Here is the photo! AND I stunned the bee too! Then I noticed a PERFECT rose and stopped and took a photo even though I was running a wee bit late to work!

I FINALLY put the fun envie from SoManyIdea's in the frame and up on the wall!  I LOVE that painting!

And since my Flickr friend Liv was making fun of me and the raccoons pulling up my new grass I did this for him! Giggle

And I even had some time to do the LAST of my large Rolodex cards!

Rising above

Well I am trying to encourage myself and it seems to be working... today I wore the shawl I made on the size 50 knitting needles! Although it is lacey and holey I think it covered the tattoo well enough! I love this shawl! It is fun! And tonight I got some great results with my painting for the backgrounds on the rolodex cards.

New Doo

I couldn't stand myself anymore...so off to get a new doo! And I like it a lot more, but the artist thought I wasn't serious when I said SHAVE IT! I was so friggin hot!  So she upped the back and left the sides long...
I was so HOT and GRUMPY I meant shave it...but she was right...I would have regretted it, however, IF I don't get some sleep soon I might pass out driving or say MORE of the truth at work...

Since not being able to walk I feel some weight...sigh...I am annoyed that my little dancing in the morning is NOT helping!  AND my computer wanted updates and when I did it wouldn't let me back on the internet!!!! Seems Zone Alarm does not like the updates damn it!

I have been doing Altered Rolodex cards every day...the backgrounds anyway...

 

Playing in the studio...

 I was able to play in the studio after we went food shopping...productive day in the studio!  And I found some really old photos that we forgot to develop from the 35mm camera! LOL 

I LOVE the photos of the WGB with Hooter my cat that passed a few years ago...that was her fav spot she adored him like all my animals do!  She was his shadow! I used to tease him that she was his "familiar!"  And doesn't he look cute with his mustache!

The photos with the girls from work must have been in 2001 or so...giggle...don't even know what it was for, maybe a holiday get together...

Great Fun!

We left Santa Nella at 10 am and got to Santa Clarita for a thrift shop at 2:30! Not a bad run at all! We found MANY treasures on our trip...and the best time was had a Zinnia's in downtown Pacedena! Joe who works there was fantastic and was the most memorable and fun time I had the entire trip!  A shout out to him! We talked long about the Day of the Dead and myths and the church. So refreshing to meet some one who gets me about this!

We all had great meals and great finds on the trip! We made our Junk Gypsy Necklaces and wore them to dinner where all of us lost some of our hanging things but we will fix them all when we get home! AND you can even see the photo where I hit my head on the ceiling jumping on the bed! Ha! When we got to Gilroy it was 105 degrees! Yikes Welcome Summer! I am so glad I lost that 11 pounds to be able to wear shorts and my jean skirt!

It was sure nice to get home to see the WGB ... I so missed him!

Whooosh! It IS hot!

It was in the 90s today! I am MELTING!  I am still sick with tummy issues today and left work early! Damn it I have a lot to do and at least I got a lot done before I left at 2. It was a long rough day...but one of the guys from another dept brought me some beautiful fleurs! AND I was able to wear a dress I haven't been able to in TWO years! Yipee!!!!!

45 minute walk after work!

Even though I was tired and hurt...I walked 45 minutes! Whoot whoot!   I am not going to give up even when I am STILL sick! Keep going and loose the weight! I am just concerned because I don't have an appitite and I don't want to gain any weight back because my body thinks I am starving...I just don't feel good and I can't eat much...I forced some soup down...gack!

I am SO excited about the weight getting down!

I am working on a secret project...INSPIRED!
