I have had a hard time thinking of picking up the needles again...I had been playing with that one noro scarf since Lucy died...and I finally picked out some home spun and Jane Thornley's new pattern scarf/vest... Small Investments...and her knit along on Ravelry...I am inspired to knit again...and this time maybe not cry every time I make a stitch...
I'm sure you can imagine how happy I am to hear you're picking up the needles again. I completely understand the connection and inability after Lucy, but I hope that it will be for you as it is for me -- a soothing form of therapy.
Never saw Jane Thornley before -- thanks for showing her as she's absolutely amazing. YES! She's a great one (along with some stunning yarn) to get the inspiration going!
Smiles to you!

I am excited about the colors working up on the needles...and Jane's pattern! I love the free range idea of knitting! I am glad to share her with you! I have many of her patterns and love the way they work up!
I forget, are you on Ravelry???? She has a group there and this is what they are doing for a knit a long! Join if you can!
