Me today...reading my new retreat books watching The Convenant...

Exploration...

I wanted to go on a walk...I figured around our area...and the WGB figured we would continue our walk and exploration along the Bay. I didn't even KNOW about this park...and neither did he and I was grateful there was a bathroom! It was a seriously beautiful day! I wore the wrong shoes for pebbles flying in them and sweater and levi shirt was too much! Who knew it would be so nice on the Bay!

Gobble Gobble Gobble

Ah, well the kid didn't tell me he was only staying for a short visit...so he didn't have dinner with us, but we had a visit! I was so glad to see him, and he took a nap, and I took a nap. We watched movies...or snored through them. AND then when I started taking photos he complained they are ALWAYS the same! Snort! HEY they turn out don't they?!

Silly Gimpy! Came down with out any clothes! Dork! I gave him some of my shirts or sweat shirts! Ha! He took my fav sweat shirt! Brat! AND my FROG shirt! AND my work out T! Kids! Snort  All in all a very nice day! After he left we had dinner and we were cleaned up by 7:15! Not a bad day!

 

Horror! My house is a mess AND I hope I have enough food!

My son JUST called he is coming from Reno for Thanksgiving!!! He told me he was going to his dads! GAH...I have to run around and try to get ready tonight! I am tired just thinking about it! BUT grateful he will be here...just shocked...

My house is never going to be clean again...sigh.

He is staying at my ex-sister in-laws tonight and I guess I will see him tomorrow in the morning...whew! I hope I have enough food.

I am grateful for the BIG boss who came out 45 minutes before the end of the day and said GO HOME! I said I am GONE!  and I flew out before any one else! I had to do my dinner shopping for tomorrow! LOL  The awesomeness that it is my Friday! That I have two days off! and the weekend!

Today 3, 975 steps! Yeah!

That maybe I will do some art on my time off!

I am grateful for the overcast day filled with cool autumn air...and the leaves that crunched and made me slip today. The funny chickens on my front lawn at work that make me giggle! And telling a worker he CAN'T chase them for dinner! And my silly hair that can't make up its mind to be curly or straight! Today, 3,130 steps today. I felt really sassy today...

Vacation day!

 I made sure to take the photo of me hugging the tree for Lorimarsha! She has had a rough year of tree's and she told me to love mine! I do! It has beautiful leaves in the Fall! Proving once again that I am a product of my times! snort Today I only walked 3,233 steps...

Start the day off doing good...

Cops & Gobblers a thanksgiving food program we do...today we gave 225 families in our city, baskets of food for Thanksgiving...we had DOUBLE the volunteers this year, so the WGB and I did not have to deliver. AND usually we do 5 rounds with baskets putting the stuff in...this years there were so many volunteers we went twice around! We did 140 MORE baskets this year...that is how tight we are getting in this area...and I had to turn down families...which never feels good...but we do what we can...and keep the program at the quality we need to.

A few local businesses donate turkey gift cards...we use laundry baskets for the food so families can USE them all year...and from my bunny program we add stuffed bunnies to them for each kid.... The scary thing was this year we had to raise $10, 000 and it all came together in the end...but I stressed it!

But when you look at all those baskets ready to go...it just makes you feel good!
