Happy 103 Birthday Grandma!
If she had lived she would be 103...and I have missed her every day that she has been gone. I think of her every day...This weekend I will go to her grave and make sure it is cleaned up and new flowers put down...and I shall dance on her grave and show her how much weight I have lost and she will smile and giggle, loving that I am still strong enough to be silly in my own skin! This was taken in Mountain View, 1976 at her Eagles Club on Castro Street. I have her hands and feet, and apparently the never grow up attitude. I always felt she was like a child. I am sure that is why her other kids just didn't get her.
I got home from a grueling day back to work and even had energy to go to the grocery store, picked up fresh fruit, veggies and organic/non-antibiotic meats. Some healthy snacks for work...got back cooked dinner and cleaned up too! What is up with me? LOL Then I sat to do art! I must be sick! Well when I got back to work the scaffolding was gone, but the skylight that crashed down all over my desk was covered in card board and SEVERAL times today it freaked me out by raining glass on the card board! It is a freaky sound when you are sitting under it!! I was glad I was gone last week when they were messing with it and it came crashing down with my other co-workers THERE! I think I would have been hurt had I been sitting there!
Deep breathe of fresh ART air! I have inspiration in my bones! I have started to work on some art again! It feels good! I started the Roladex project today, and little steps, one thing at a time. The most important thing to me is that I am sitting my butt in the chair! AND I have a clean space to work in! YEAH
Hey Gypsy! You look fantastic! How are you doing the whole weight loss thing? I lost my Grandmom too, she was a major source of inspiration in my life. We share a birthday and I am her name sake. I feel your loss.
Keep up the good work!

Hello Gypsy, I always seem to forget that you also have a blog.
Lots of love and crafting joy from your Flickr friend Tuttebel.
