First of all Happy Birthday Dad! Secondly, he doesn't want any one acknowledging his age. Sigh. How are we ever going to be comfortable with aging when our parents can't grabble it? I think it is hard for him this year with all of us in our 40s now...my youngest brother Steve will be 43, Chuck is going to 45, and I am going to be 47...Grandma teased him and said I am ALMOST 50! We laughed really hard! We are evil!
One of the things I have never been good at is follow up with the Doctors. In fact the gal that did a reading on my body said that that was my biggest issue...I had to FOLLOW UP...so I am being disciplined and following up! I went to the phlebotomist for my follow up blood test on my Vitamin D levels.
It has been a wicked day...like some thing is off with the planets...and I wondered if I should go...but I put my big girl panties on and went! They got me good today! A new gal with a supervisor standing next to her! Gulp! I knew I should have waited until the planets got back to normal! LOL some bruising but the vein didn't roll and I am grateful it was ONE vile of blood! Whew! Quick and out of there!
What cracks me up, every time I go to this clinic the volunteers and people walking around ALWAYS comment on my outfits...I must be so different from what they are used to seeing....hum....I don't always understand the difference they see.
Tonight the WGB got an award, I taped it on our local TV station...he didn't want me to go...but I tried to take photos of him all dressed up he was pretty much a brat! And I didn't get a good one. One he looks like he is being punished in the corner for being a bad boy and the other one he is trying to hide IN me!
My co-worker is miserable in the last few days of her pregnancy, she
had to go shopping a little at our fav place Target! So I asked her to
pick me up SWEENEY TODD! Oh Johnny Fest tonight! Two hours of special
features!!! Can I just say THIS makes me happy! A little Johnny Depp
Fest in my own home! YUM!
So I will be deep into the movie tonight...most likely watching through my fingers...I hate bloody movies! But I love him and I love the score! I have been listening to the music since iTunes released it! They did a fantastic job of singing, Helena was good too! Johnny sounds a little like my other pretend boyfriend David Bowie...Two rolled into one! Should be a FUN night! Snort
