NEVER knit when you have a headache for 4 days! I don't know what my ribbing was doing, but it just wasn't right...so I have been frogging 5" of my ribbing...but it is all a learning curve...and I want to be happy with this FIRST sweater! So FROG it is... AND tinking is hard and time consuming!
Well, didn't go to work, cleaned my kitchen, had some WGB coffee staring out into my silly winter blown garden, dreaming of doing some thing FUN. With this headache for the last 4 days...I am ready for a break from it! When the WGB got home he took me to the garden store, he knew I have been wanting some fleurs...I found my favs there!
Tonight was supposed to be a Flickr meet up in SF, well there was one, I just wasn't there. I tried calling the restaurant to order and pay for a little tid-bits tray but the gal on the phone wouldn't do it...and I didn't want to argue with my headache. pout. I still have a darn fever and HEADACHE!!! Annoyed to no end! I love these friendly strangers! I would have had SO much fun laughing with them!
I tried to cheer myself up this morning...wearing BRIGHT orange ... came home early... finally assessed my garden...I lost a lot of plants! And the ones left look...tired! I think they are tired of winter too!
I had a nice big cup of the liquid of the gods when I got home from work and studied my garden...imagining flowers in bloom! Dreaming of FEELING no pain in my head! I then sat on the couch with my trusty iPod listening to knitting podcasts and knitting my ribbing on the sweater! I am so excited that I am almost done with it! It is going to be SO cute!
Ode to joy, still have a headache and the darn flu stuff...and lucky me it's lack an hour day too! I did have the day FLY by, and I was home knitting. But I did get an awesome Becktress package today! How cute she wrapped it up. AND I have ribbing on my sweater! Things are moving along on this sweater.
I was able to get to the Knit store for the Knit Doctor who helped me get back on track with my lace knitting...however, when I got back...not feeling good...I laid on the couch and realized yup I am sick...FEVER and a fantastic little fever blister on my lip!
Tuesday is the Flickr Meet up...and I wanted to go...but not like this...gah...I am so disappointed...and the headache...fullon!
Just not feeling good...I have had a really bad headache since I woke up...
But I worked on my knitting...and had my hair back to curls! LOL AND I caught the WGB in his cheaters when he promptly told me he would PAY ME BACK! I happen to think he is adorable when he pays the bills listening to AC/DC blasting in his ears! LOL
So I just couldn't stand the way I chopped my hair...it was buggin me...I got lucky and called the place down the street...they had a opening! A new gal out of school with a mohawk and blue and pink hair! She did a great job on my hair! Before and After...LOL Now I have to leave it alone for awhile...and let it grow out to how I want it...
So today...I decided to go red...Chandra's party was really nice...I took over 200 photos for her...some turned out and some didn't but at least I tried! I should have asked a couple of more people to take photos! It was a long day and I am exhausted!
AND I have SLEEVES!!!! My "I could be a Zebra Cardigan" is really a sweater! I am so excited that I am I at that next level of knitting!!!! I am seeing sleeves! The body is working up great! I am SO over whelmed with joy!
