Have to say I LOVE mail days!

I was invited to a virtual party and didn't want to show up empty handed so I created a collage for Calamity Kim! Go visit her blog here.  HBD Birthday girl!

Since I don't bake a collage was the best I could do! Smirk

All this month I have classes on Weds mornings...and today was funny because I am NOT mechanical and we had to work as a "team" to put together a lego type helicopter! LOL We all played well together...but seriously some of my team has OCD...they would NOT stop even though time was up!

Being close to Valentines Day I was putting on the red! I have to say I love red/black/gray together! I need to do a black and white scarf AND a red and white scarf! In cashmere when I get the cash! LOL 

When I got back to my cubie...MAIL had come!!!!! Yeah!!!!   My Round Robin Scarf came from Bev !!!!! Yeah I have to add mine to it and it is done!

A Jek package! I had won a contest on her blog about a year ago and she felt SO bad for not sending the gift! I say NO FOUL she was not required to do it! But today it made my day cheerful and fun! AND she put in there one of her new pillows with a dragonfly on it that I really wanted! So I scored!

Jek KNOWS how to pack a giftie tub! Such a small thing and yet she PACKED tons of fun into it!

Great mail day!

I tried making a iPod holder out of Sari silk and knitting....it was REALLY slippery and wonky! So when I saw Sunfleur had made one and so I commissioned her for my size iPod with the leather jacket on it and the cord next to it and it is BEAUTIFUL! She is a wonderful seller, communication is great as well as the quality and boy is she fast!

Where did the weekend go?

When I have classes or huge things happening on my Sundays I just don't feel like I had much of a weekend! But I kicked ass in the knitting phase of it!  I am hurting from all the knitting but boy did I accomplish a lot! Whoot whoot! I am kicking ass!

I was SO happy that I finished my caplet I wore it to work!

Wow!

TWO knitting classes are hard to do in one day! It was 5 hours of MORE knitting!

First of all the Cardigan Sweater is HARD for me, but most of the class was spent doing a swatch to see gauge! I hate that part! And now I am wondering about my yarn choice...it may make me look HUGE ... I am calling it "I could be a Zebra Cardigan"

The second class was for a Lace Shawl or Scarf...I am doing a shawl. And at least I feel like I am getting a lot of movement on this one! so I feel like I am at least "getting it". AND I found out for sure I am a yarn snob AND I have VERY expensive taste!!!

OMG It is finally DONE!

I can barely move my fingers! My arms and fingers are SORE! I need to learn to take breaks but I get so focused because ITS ALMOST DONE that I don't let it sit!

I finished my second Jane Thornley Caplet and I used the Holly Magic Gypsy Yarn!!!! LUSHIOUS! It worked up like buttah!  I hurt like holy hell, and I have my TWO knitting classes tomorrow! LOL So I will be knitting for HOURS again! I am certified! Really I am! I am learning how to do a sweater AND a lace shawl! Giggle Snort Grin! Certified I tell ya!

The good thing I fell in love with a movie I never saw, I LOVE vampire and werewolf movies, and I had NEVER seen Van Helsing! Ever! AND OMG what great special effects in that movie! AND it reminds me of real Frankenstein story, it has the Frankenstein monster in it, and it was like I was listening to Craftlit while I was watching the opening! It is really like the original! It is now my fav movie! I have to buy a copy to watch over and over again!

And it is the first time I noticed I was on the Front Page of Ravelry for Finished Objects! LOL

I was so gung ho on the circling of the wagons I got this lovely!!!! It is called Holly's Ocean she lives in Florida and like me LOVES the beach!  It was created by Deeb's who I LOVE her work and have wanted a piece of art from her, so I got to be selfish AND help a friend! What a great way to feel good!

Gah!

So I am REALLY frustrated!!!! I had a suspicion that my weight gain was the new meds for my back, it allows me to feel no pain or extreme pain at night but man ... I get the weight gain, I have fallen 3 times recently from being dizzy AND coughing!!!

AND my doctor went on maternity leave until July...NICE they let their patients know! Fuck I didn't even know she was pregnant! So I get to go through all this with  A NEW DOCTOR! so much fun!

I have to learn to trust my inner voice again...I can't wait to get on the healthy side!
