Radical New Hair Cut!
So this morning I woke up in a mood that I am ugly and need to reinvent myself! Whalla! The new gal got what I wanted to do with my hair in the back! She used the hot iron and I will never get it THIS straight again! LOL It is WILD straight!
When I walked in the Worlds Greatest Boyfriend FREAKED out! He didn't know who I was! He said he now understands how people can disappear! He has NEVER seen my hair straight! Giggle Grin Snort
One of the guys at work said, I love it, it is architectural!!! LOL Snort! Such a man thing to say! I laughed really hard!

Speaking to 500 delegates at the second day of the International Association of Fire Chief’s Convention Foster said:“The fact is, we are at war. I hope America awakens before the skies are reddened. I should like to see anti-aircraft guns for every fire department in America.”
Chief Sam Pope of Boston said the Massachusetts metropolis owned one piece of equipment which carried anti-aircraft guns.

Accomplishments of the day...
The worlds greatest boyfriend set up my new monitor that can be pushed by my laptop AND my stand alone! All in the same cabinet Yeah for me! I know I will miss my 24" CRT but already my neck feels better...it was just too on top of me in my cabinet...my laptop would not push the old monitor.
AND it was decided by Lucy that I was right, the point of my shawl is bad! I frogged the whole damn thing and started over for the THIRD time! LOL
Celebration within a family...
Today I went to the Santa Clara Mission celebrating the Rivas family history at the Santa Clara Mission.
Today we learned a little more than we did last time in San Francisco. Gene, David and Lucy went to Mexico this year to celebrate the 100 years of the murals! That is fantastic! So much history! This presentation was more well put together and always fascinating!
BOTH of Lucy's sisters were able to come this time! Only missing her brother! I would love to meet him! It was a fantastic day, to be able to see her! I am so happy! She looks great! You would never know she just had surgery!

Lazy day...
Ah! Today I DID get to sleep in until 10 am! YEAH, when the WGB woke me up because he knew we had things to do today! I scoped out where there Mission was for Sunday and looked for restaurants...nothing in the area but Denny's and Las Palomas...so there are two.
We went to our fav store...FRYS...and I found a 20" monitor for integrating my two computers, my laptop and my stand alone...the lap top will not push my 24" CRT screen...and I want a smaller less bulky screen...
I found one! On sale and with a rebate! Yeah! Tomorrow the WGB will be hooking every thing up ... tonight I just worked on some cute little gifties ala Mama Amanda Button for my friends! Will post later!

Friday Frolics
Hum...I know I shouldn't wear it this heavy but I LOVE this vest I made with Pallie woman! It is Halloween on one side and mermaids on the other! So I wore it anyway! I promise the last time until I loose weight! And I wore my day of the dead necklace today...I love having my grandmother close to me all day.
What a LONG week! Freaky week for the full moon! Tomorrow I plan on sleeping in until I naturally wake up! With all the medical scares I have not been able to sleep so I hope I can sleep in tomorrow! I am exhausted emotionally! Drained! Just plain out of juice!
I need some down time to create or view beauty, or just feel joy without any thing else blocking the sun! Off to watch my fav Friday shows!
