LOL Then MOVE your feet your hips your arms AND do the chimes! Hey this is the FIRST class! I am so hosed! LOL Suck in your belly, push your belly out NOW flutter your belly! OHMYGAWD too hysterical!
I am so not a dancer! Snort!
Even with your pain and soreness, I am inspired ;-)

oooh, girl. I took belly dancing classes off and on for over 6 years, went to conventions, etc. One time, I performed at a convalescent home. hehe, that was interesting.
I'm glad to see ya doing it. It is great excercise that is mostly non-stessful to the body. Unless you start doing stuff like Turkish drops which will mess you up, heeee.

Alexia!
I could totally see you doing this! YOU PERFORMED!? Man I don't have the guts for that!
I was SO sore this morning! I thought WHAT was I thinking! But my girl friend who is taking the class with me is totally encouraging me! AND she has the same pain and she is at least 12 or 13 years younger! So I don't feel too bad now!
We got our hip scarves tonight...so I AM going back! Giggle There was some doubt this morning!
The teacher I found out, is a technical buff, so she is not cutting us any slack. I am just afraid I won't be able to keep up!

Hi Gypsy,
That sounds like a lot of fun and a great way to get some exercise in. I am sure it will get better as you go along.
Enjoy it!
