Ah the Hells Kitchen shawl is done! Yeah! All I have to do now is add the witches and devils to it! I have to decide where though...but how fun to have it all done! Yeah for me!

I swear since the two died this year, Fatty has been so needy...right there by my side or the WGB, he gets so happy when I pick him up and hug him...but he tends to drool! Yuck!

He is THE most spoiled boy ever! There is nothing I will tell him no for! Since he is my last fur baby...and I think he is starting to "get" that! Now he crys at night by my bedroom door...he is so lonely...but that is the only rule...no fur babies on the bed...per the WGB...and he doesn't ask much of me...

Here I was trying to do computer work...ha! Like that is going to happen when he is sitting on me! LOL

Hells Kitchen...moving into the last curve!

Well Hells Kitchen is coming along! All the Barbe yarn is in it now and just have to finish the black and it is done! Yeah! This has been working up fun and fast! I am really liking it!  I think this is really going to be a good shawl! AND I can't wait to put the devils and witches on it! Snort

Survived the torture of the Mammogram!

Now the waiting game...they "possibly" found two small lumps and I get to go back for more testing including ultra-sounds! Doesn't THIS sound like fun? What is up with this fucked up year? Gah

I refuse to freak until I KNOW any thing! Easy to say right...hard to live.

Notes from the Universe...

In all tests of character, Gypsy, when two viewpoints are pitted against one another, in the final analysis the thing that will strike you the most, is not who was right or wrong, strong or weak, wise or foolish.... but who would go to the greatest lengths in considering the other's perspective.

Frogs!

I seriously don't know how to feel about this article, I realize they are not going to be killing them to dissect them, but they will be doing other horrible things to them, shudder:

Japanese researchers have succeeded in producing see-through frogs, letting them observe organs, blood vessels and eggs under the skin without performing dissections.

Purse!

Forgot to show off my finished purse! It may be a little wonky, but at least I have tried and finished a purse! Yeah me!

Balance and Knitting

Still trying to balance my life out here. It is a tough thing to do. I sure hope it comes into clairty soon!  I did get a lot of my studio and family room cleaned up... still have far to go but I am starting to be able to breathe a little with more lack of clutter! I am starting to hate clutter!  And I have a goal of the end of October to be clean by for my art friends to come over! So in between I have to clean a little every day...and take bites out of the elephant all over my room! Snort

I worked on my charms final touches...and worked on my shawl today. Some times all you need is a little inspiration to help you get started. I was feeling like things were closing in on me, and now I feel a little more free...I sure hope it continues to get better. I am actually feeling hopeful~rather than the impending doom of late! LOL

Stop me I am addicted!

I cannot believe I have started another shawl! LOL Yarn is my new crack! I cannot stop myself!  This is an exciting one considering that it is Halloween looking! It is Hell's Kitchen from Barbe Saint John! OOOoooosh so much fun! Paired it with black!
