Paper Dolls have left the Building!

Well...all in all the design went well...the only thing I think didn't work like I wanted was the booklet hanging off the side...AND I decided NOT to do double sided removable because every ones seemed flat on the page so I didn't want to do all of that work!

But I like mine...I could have done better...but I like it! AND the fact that it got in priority mail on time is the best! I hate being late!

I am still working it!

Well, It is a slow start, I am doing 20 minutes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday I am going to the gym. Then on Thursday and Friday I am walking on my breaks at work so that is 30 minutes a day. I just put my iPodage on and walk at a good pace for me. If I start slow I can make it a life style change rather than hurting myself so bad I won't want to do it! Slow and steady like the Turtle and I will win the race!

A reminder that I need slow...my knee is THROBBING! And my asthma acted up after I worked out, but it will get better...I think it was because my treatment is supposed to be at 6:00 pm and I finished at 5:35 and it was close! So when I got home I had my treatment, my heart is racing but otherwise my breathing went into sinc again, at least I am not struggling!

Starting to Do it ANYWAY!

Well today after work I went to the Senior Center new gym with my foster mom...we sat through a "safety lecture" and then walked through the gym...I only did a bit of a work out but I made it through with my asthma in check...

Tomorrow the first real day! I am taking it slow and doing a half hour! AND on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday because that is when they are open after 5 pm...

So I am definately moving towards my goals, I have already lost some weight from the changes I am making and now this will just help me be healthier! I am excited! Low key!

AND let me tell ya, that new Senior Center rocks!

Ah! Today was a good mail day! I got my bracelet that has Gypsies on it AND it matched what I was wearing today! And some Lisa Kettel art! Yeah! AND her new zine...so it was eye candy day!

Lisa Wand! I love this wand! I have to take a close up tomorrow! AND the fairy on the bike is hysterical to me! Love it! I got her little book today and I am excited! Will have to take better photos of it and the ATCs!

On the lighter side...

25 Year-Old

When I was married 25 years, I took a look at my wife one day and said, "Honey, 25 years ago, we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 25 year old blonde. Now, we have a nice house, nice car, big bed and plasma screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 50 year old woman. It seems to me that you are not holding up your side of things."

My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 25 year old blonde, and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa bed and  watching a 10-inch black and white TV.

Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve a mid-life crisis.

Soul Searching Rant!

You know some times I truly have to wonder...WHY do I attract certain people in my life and WHY do things have to be so fucking hard? This was so supposed to be LIGHT...FUN...NO DRAMA!  I am seriously thinking of taking a break from everything!

All good things have to end

Well I woke up early went to the kitchen started the coffee and then took a shower. Oh how the shower felt good! Puttered and did a couple cross word puzzles...

Every one slowly got up and moving! Mitzi even brought her Espresso machine and so her and Nan were sharing a cup of latte! giggle...we got ourselves together...took the photos with all of us in it...finally remembered to do that! And packed our SUVs up for the ride home!

Had a leisurely breakfast...have to thank my Lucylicious for turning me on to those Grape nuts trail mix cereal! LOVE it! And then we drove home!

Once back near home after I left the girls, I went to Nob Hill and bought some groceries I knew I would NOT want to go out again! I was starving for lunch. So I had a spinach salad, some baguette with Parmesan cheese, and olives. Very nice indeed!

The rest of the day I watched my taped programs, uploaded my photos to Flickr and rested on the couch after watering the plants! Nice hazy day for me!
