A friend of mine and her family are going through a really rough time...Patti's daughter served in Iraq...came home with complications that the Army is not addressing. Find out more by viewing her website!
I received this email from her: An update on a few things. First of all, Megan's tumor IS shrinking, so that is most excellent. They will be giving her large doses of chemo to keep it going. She is pretty sick right now ...finally getting the flu or some other nasty thing. And the baby has it too. But I am making a big pot of chicken soup, the cure all, and will bring it to them later on. She just lost her job on friday. Long story, I won't get into it, but a lawyer has been contacted.

Oh Shosh!
I am SO glad I did post this! Thank you for making a donation! I have not been able to yet...but when my finances work out I will be too! I wish I was rich! I would give all my money away!
Today was a good day for me! An Art day! SO I am on a high! Go see my new uploads in Flickr! I had a blast today! So much fun doing a 3x3 mini book in the Beryl Taylor style! I love it! It is no where near done but a good start!
Alien is stinky and I have to clean her up and give her the meds tonight...since I was gone most of the day 8-5:30 she needs some care tonight...Just started a fire to get it warmer in the family room/studio for her and I will do more art while she enjoys the fire!
I had a VERY stressful week and am starting to relax a little...and a bonus I didn't realize...I have Monday off for a holiday! Yipee! SO I will be MORE relaxed when I have to start the next week! BIG big hugs!

Gypsy; thank you so much for forwarding this on..and Shosh for being so generous. Many don't have money to donate, but the prayers and meditations and the emails keep me going....and whatever we get for Megan is keeping her and Alanna afloat for now. We take everything a day at a time. You are wonderful women and I am honored to know you.
