Loosing Friends

I found out today, that one of my friends who retired in 1991 from my job died yesterday! I am profoundly sad...Barbara was a kick in the ass, ALWAYS positive, ALWAYS professional....loved our line of work....loved the people she worked with. I suppose next week we will be going to her memorial...

And the strange thing, she died of the same thing my girl friend MaryAnne's mother died from this month...her small intestine died...and there was nothing they could do.
