Cheered Up by an Art Adventure!

Well...yup today I couldn't go to work...IBS attack...I was pretty down and laying on the couch...and feeling guilty because someone had to call me about getting on my computer and printing 300 MORE flyers like I did yesterday before I left, boy if I had felt any better I would have gone in.

So I sat on the couch feeling sorry for myself when...   S  U  R  P  R  I  S  E !! I heard something at the door! Here is an email banter between Angie and I...Wow did she make my yucky day good!

This beauty was at my door today! With a little note to contact Angie about the story! Look how wonderful she is!!! I love this!

I have been feeling sorry for myself all day, the stress is kicking my butt and my IBS has really been acting up .... I am home sick as a dog chasing his butt and never catching it! I hear something at the door...I wait...and when I open the door a package is there!!!!

OH MY GAWD from my Angie girl!!!!!

I rip it open wondering what is that? Did I buy something that I forgot about??? Giggle and inside is a magical gypsy girl with a FROG!!!!! All my favorite colors represented! That tampourine!!!! The back mini gypsy bottle cap!!! Man you are so talented!!!!!  AND she looks like me! hee hee hee

So tell me, tell me, tell me...

The Gypsy Spinning and clapping her hands even if she is sick!!!!

I have to find a VERY prominant place for her that everyone will notice her!

What an ART adventure she was LOL  Early this year I wanted to make you something ---this was probably in Jan.  So I decided to make you a bracelet..I had made a few about this time.  And I thought no...that's just not enough.  I want it to be something really special. 

Then I thought....a necklace....so I planned out a big grand sassy necklace in my head and when I went to put it together ...it just didn't match the bottlecap I'd made. 

So it sat there for a month or so.  I then decided to scrap the cap and make you a gypsy doll with a frog.  Looked long and hard for a frog and couldn't find one LOL  One day a friend gave me a stash of beads she was cleaning out...AH HA Frog Charm!! 

In March when we went on vacation I grabbed all the supplies I thought I'd need to put her together.  Can't remember now what I forgot at home...but it put the entire doll on hold.  So once home I worked on her a little here and a little there....until that last week when she just didn't feel right so I ripped off half of what I'd done and reworked her (in two days) to what she is now.  LOL

But I sure know how to complicate things.  But I just had to add the original cap on her back  LOL Do hope you enjoy her and that she can bring you a smile no and then when you need it.
