Well!!!!! how dare that doctor say that to you!!! That even makes me MAD!!! I hope you are not in too much pain...and that you feel better soon...I have to make an appt. for my MRI next week...I'm already nervous!

Gypsy

I tell you, I get dissed more times than I want to admit! My boyfriend was VERY surprised I didn't hurt him! (meaning slap the doc!) But it is what it is...I am chunky...I can't make it go away!

The pain has been so chronic that I am just exhausted...and getting to be crabby! I hope to feel better after the needle things...gulp!

Dee

Oh no, I don't think it is sick to make art out of it! I'm doing the same w/ things concerning my heart and the various testing so I suppose I'm not unbiased >giggle> but I can imagine some really creative pieces - and you put so much of you in your art as it is so why not this?

I hope the shots will help and you'll get some pain relief - that will help so much just to control the pain and then you can think clearer on what comes next. That was my experience, when I got my pain under control I was able to make better decisions as to my health.

Gypsy

Oh you are so right Dee!

If the pain is managed, then yes I think my mind might clear and I will be able to think more clear! Giggle

I am glad you don't think I am sick! : ) And you are right, it would be interesting to use it in my art...I do more personal stuff so makes sense!!!

Hugs!

Sue Pieper

I FINALLY found your blog! I'm going through the same back stuff, L2 is bulged on me. I've had 2 cortisone injections in my back already, and they honestly didn't hurt, even though I was expecting torture! Tomorrow they're giving me one in my hip-gulp! Good luck with your back!

Gypsy

Welcome Sue!
I am so glad to see you here! AND that you shared with me that you had shots too!

I have started to freak out! SO that helped! I have been expecting torture!!!!

Ohh...hip! we are a pair!

Mine is L4 and L5 and my hip is killing me. Is your hip related to your back issue?

I hope you come back! : )
