A Good Time

It was nice to spend some time with the boy! I do miss him when he isn't around! He is funny though...the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree, he is a bit quirky!

He did many chess puzzles on his computer today after we got back from the movie...which made me laugh, I needed to laugh! and going to Global...

I worked on my books...

Watched Sleepy Hollow...a Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movie that was really good but rather gruesome, and Finding Neverland...and currently I am watching Peter Pan...the one that came out last year...

After dinner he took off to play chess with his friends...seems he has decided to go home tomorrow...so it was a really short visit...

Glorious Beads

Ah, I did VERY well today. I did not spend a fortune! I actually walked out of Global Beads (http://www.globalbeads.com/general/index.html) for UNDER $15! I couldn't believe it!

But I did get the size beads I needed to thread the spine of the woven book! I found a faboo skeleton...that was the most expensive bead at $6.00...but so worth it! I love it! So you will have to check out the album Woven Book to see it!

Lazy Morning

Ah having a lazy morning...my son is playing chess on the computer I am getting ready to take him to go see Hitched...should be funny.

It is nice having him here...AND being off of work!

Productive

Well today was productive...I went to work with a full day, got off work and my son was pulling into the driveway from Reno, we got into my truck, got gas, and went food shopping!

Then I came home unloaded and put things away only to start dinner! Then while it was cooking  I vaccumed and moved the bed stuff for him into the dryer! I forgot how having your kids around made you work!

On to check email...to tired to respond...so off to bed I go a very tired mommy! And its only Tuesday???? Whine

Ah Finished

Yesterday I finished the weaving on my book...have to find large enough beads and charms to put on the ends. But no fail there, I will take a walk to Global Beads and find perfect ones!

I started to write in the journal today...and the excerpt is of course about Bowie...why? Because my brain has been OBSESSED about him in my dreams lately! Gah... So I put those pages in the Woven book album too!

I did find out on the first page NOT to use the Sharpie Ultra-fine pens because it bleeds through the paper! Of course on a really cool page too! The other side had some great drawings...obliterated now!

A Visit

I am getting excited...my son called and said he is coming for a little spring break vacation! Whoot! Have been missing him!
