Grrrr...fighting the scarf!

That scarf was named right! Thorn Goblintree Scarf!!! It is doing nothing but fighting me through the whole process...I think I have made many mistakes with this one and that is the reason it is so tight and hard to work on! Sigh Maybe it is all the anxiety I am feeling with the WGB's dad and wife coming for the holidays...and my house is a DISASTER...the more we work on it the worse it gets...all I can say is I am SO grateful for friends! One of my good friends stepped up and loaned us her empty storage unit so we can put the excess furniture and crap'ola in! OMG I am over whelmed!

Puddlejumper suggested I do the name generator for my Lucy…it was SO good I think I actually have to do a piece in her spirit! So right now it is cued up but not in the works, I will start putting aside yarn for the project.

Picking up the needles again...

I have had a hard time thinking of picking up the needles again...I had been playing with that one noro scarf since Lucy died...and I finally picked out some home spun and Jane Thornley's new pattern scarf/vest... Small Investments...and her knit along on Ravelry...I am inspired to knit again...and this time maybe not cry every time I make a stitch...

I just have to start...move...attempt to be better and let things go and live in the moment.  I am still attempting to learn crochet!

Whew! I lost a few leaves but its coming back! Nature DID give me a second chance!

Other than being tired I am keeping my spirits up! Won't let  this beat me down! Had the doc order DIFFERENT meds for the swelling, hoping tomorrow will be better. AND good news! Grandma got out of the hospital and she is home! Her cat was SO happy to see her she has been sleeping on her tummy!!!! Nothing like your fur baby to make you feel better!

Fatty Boy wants me to learn to spin! Still looking for a class...

ROUGH night...very... my throat is now closing off and I feel like I am not getting enough air on top of the leg swelling...well really body swelling that is happening, plus the incessant worry...night is like torture to me now but WGB got me up and going and took me to Pleasanton again. I have a hard time driving with the foot.

We had breakfast down town and the food was wonderful and then to the vendor show...home and my feet back up! Better day...no swelling left. I knit a lot today kicking my feet up...no more swelling tonight...and it kept me sane while WGB drove today! It helps me make less comments! LOL

What a great little town Pleasanton is...I enjoy the downtown a lot...even when it drizzles rain!

Today was a total PINK day! LOL I wore a pink outfit, my pink jewelry and my Pink rose bloomed so beautiful I wanted to eat it! YUM! Wore my new shoes and my feet were a bit swollen...not bad though.

Started to knit a Noro scarf to match my hat!

Today we went on a bike ride at Los Gatos Trail, we thought we might ride to down town and have lunch, but it was WAY too far for me! LOL I got winded and we turned back! LOL It was a beautiful trail though! I think we both had fun. AND I found out that WGB has been sneaky and smoking...I am disappointed...because he has some issues and this is not going to help. But his son is a pain in the ass and creating stress for him...so he is sneaking smoking damn it. After the bike ride we had lunch back in Mountain View at Clarks burger, yum and I had a Corona! It was so good! And helped me pee the swelling away! LOL

I finished my Noro Hat today! I am SO happy with it! It really is a nice looking hat!!!

And the Garden is doing well! Really growing nicely! I even fed it! Whoot whoot!

  

Trying to keep my self-esteem!
Some days it is just hard to be ehem, a chunky girl.  When NONE of your jeans fit it is a discouraging day...so I went clothes shopping and got my SIZE today...poo...and I will be happy that I have pants that fit my lushious bootie as Chica Flaminca tells me!!!! LOL I just have to keep my sense of humor and laugh at myself...there is just no denying that I am fat anymore!

Let me tell you, FULL wrap around mirrors are NOT my friend! I was VERY depressed looking at myself trying on clothes...that I have gone UP a size in my jeans! Seriously cannot hide my gut now! really it is so much more important that I hang on to my self-esteem now and just love myself RIGHT where I am! sigh...

The most important thing to keep in mind, I will have clothes that fit as I go off to ZNE. Who care's about the rest. Even big girls can have fun clothes! Just because we are ehem, chunky. Doesn't mean we want frumpy!

The irratating thing was the experience with Macy's...lets just say I will NEVER shop there again and I have closed my acct with them!

The rest of the night was spent knitting and catching up on programs.
